Bush's numbers falling

Corruption, lies, mismanagement catching up with George W. Bush. From the Associated Press:
About one-third of adults, 35 percent, said they think the country is headed in the right direction, while 43 percent said they approve of the job being done by Bush. Just 41 percent say they support his handling of the war, also a low-water mark.

Thirty-seven percent support Bush's handling of Social Security, while 59 percent disapprove. Those numbers haven't budged after more than four months of the president traveling the country to sell his plan to create private accounts in Social Security.

Support for his handling of the economy was at 43 percent.

Congress gets even lower grades than Bush, a potentially troubling development for those seeking re-election next year.

Only about three in 10 polled said they approve of the job being done by Congress, while 64 percent disapprove.

The Tom DeLay Republicans like Shelley Moore Capito control Congress and set the extreme rightwing agenda disapproved of by the American people while statesmen like Robert C. Byrd represent the mainstream of America.

Sure his numbers are falling but the media elite are trying to keep the Democrats and Howard Dean from making any new headway by dismissing their take on the state of the economy, the war in Iraq, social security, you name it. The media editorializes constantly about comments made by democrats and they are getting away with it without any argument. I've been following the Al Franken Show on the Sundance Channel MO-Fri at 11:30 pm for my piece of mind, finally a show that tells it like it is.

There's the Daily Show, too. People are beginning to see the light, though, despite the media.

Did you here that Franken may run for the Senate? Finally a democrat with the guts to take on the Republicans.

Lots of the Dems have guts, ROMA. Howard Dean is certainly one. ;)

Also, roma, if you get the chance, make sure you read the post about freedom and follow the links. It's the rightwing that lacks courage.
